A kickass start to Bollywood wedding in 2018

The 2018 big fat Bollywood has already begun with Mohit Marwah. The wedding took place on 20th February, this year. More than 550 people attended the wedding including many Bollywood celebs. Celebrities like Sonam Kapoor, Sridevi, and Karan Johar spotted in the two days wedding Bash in the UAE at Waldorf Astoria, Ras Al Khaimah.

Though people were enjoying the wedding party, there were around 100 people who were working and shedding sweat to make sure that the wedding functions remains smooth.

Mohit Marwah is the son of the owner of the Noida’s film city, Sandeep Marwah. The Kapoor family were busy throughout the wedding ceremony as Anil Kapoor’s nephew is Mohit Marwah.

All About the wedding:

The ceremony began with colourful Mehendi ceremony arranged during the daytime, which was followed by a sparkly cocktail party. The bride was spotted wearing her Manish Malhotra chikankari lehenga in a pastel colour. All the other celebrities who attended the cocktail party were seen wearing designer lehengas as well.

The official hashtag of the wedding is #antumoh and the social media is breaming with various images en videos of the wedding.

According to the Gulf News tabloid, the fancy Bollywood wedding plan worked pretty well. Fete Events, a Dubai based event designer was in-charge of maintaining the whole wedding ceremony. According to the wedding planner, the Marwah’s wanted the wedding to be very glamorous. As the guest list is full of Bollywood celebs and everyone had to travel a long way to attain the wedding, they wanted to make the function very memorable as well.

All pre-wedding ceremonies like Mehendi and sangeet had distinct themes and we must say each of them was ravishing. The Mehendi ceremony had Latin American theme and we can clearly say that it was not like a regular Mehendi ceremony. Rather than regular brown mehendi, there were white mehendi. The mehendi ceremony was arranged outside and was having a different theme. The ceremony was held under a huge canopy.

The colour theme was black and rose gold. Apart from it, there was a starlit dance floor as well which enhanced the beauty of the decoration. One of the best parts of the wedding was Arjun Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor playing a family skit. The skit being very well-planned worked very well. The huge chandelier was the main attraction of the wedding.

Narang was the in-charge of everything related to the decoration of the wedding. According to her, the arrangements were quite hectic. Mallika Singh was the helper of Narang and helped her in every arrangement.
