The Brahmin Matrimony in India is celebrated with much pomp and joy. All the tough rituals are observed during the three phases of the matrimonial ceremony of the Indian Brahmins. The first ceremony that they observe is the Janeu ceremony. The ceremony is the sacred vow regarding the sacred thread which is observed for giving knowledge to the Brahmin boy. This ceremony is also celebrated during childhood r during the marriage ceremony. It is a great celebration observed among the family members. The second phase of the marriage is all about the Haldi ceremony. During this ritual, the bride and groom are applied with turmeric paste. Turmeric is considered as auspicious and applying his before marriage completes the ceremony auspiciously. During this ceremony, the bride and grooms are blessed by the elders of the family in their respective house. The third phase of the marriage involves the wedding which takes place on the altar. All the Vedic rituals are performed during this ceremony. Many of the Brahmins utter hymns and the sacred ceremony get completed. The rituals in the Brahmin wedding are believed to be in their purest form. All the rituals generally follow the Vedic rules and it is considered to be most sacred. The Brahmins believe in arranged marriage mostly, or the candidates must be selected from their own community. But with the advancing time, people of Brahmin community are approving inter-cast and love marriages. Still they are depending on the matrimonial sites. Mostly the orthodox Brahmin families are seeking Brahmin grooms on the matrimonial sites for their educated daughter.
