Indian Marriages are awesome. There is chaos. There's food, loud music, dance, buzz, and above all the energy and adrenaline rush that comes with it. The holy institution of marriage not only marks the amalgamation of two souls into one but also revives the bond among our relatives. Indian weddings includes lots of bling- adding a glamour element to our weddings. We have our unique style of doing -that's what set us apart. I, being a nerd, always kept myself under the pile of engineering books. I never interacted much and hardly had a social life. But out of blue, I happened to attend a wedding of my school friends. It was like someone has dragged me with a crane to attend such function. But at the end, it seems, it was all worth it. She met her online on the Ghumar Matrimony site and the romance took the shape of marriage as we know it. Everyone in this marriage ceremony, ranging from kids to grandparents were in fun and frolic. Everything about this marriage was magnificent. The rituals, pheras, loud music, lights, decorations, blingy dresses, etc blends with the feel and life of the marriage. The bride was looking beautiful like someone has sent an angel from the sky. The groom, on the other hand, looked like the Prince of some realm. The wedding ceremony lasted for 3 hours, which was then followed by dinner and finally it all ended with a bonfire night and some late night dance. Tired from all day, I headed to my PG where I stayed and took a power nap to get started with my books again.
